What strategies and techniques can teachers use online to engage students, address the different learning styles, differentiate instruction, and also provide opportunities for student self-reflection and frequent formative assessments and check-ins? This workshop provides examples of student work and courses designs that answer these questions by integrating universal design for learning into a blended approach.

A blended approach focused on 21st century project-based learning. We will demonstrate how we are solving instructional problems, making student thinking more visible and going global with the support of technology. Topics include: 21st century project-based learning, the flipped model and online discussion forums.
